These things I know. . .

In a drawer that’s full of batteries,
The ones you need aren’t there,
There’s nothing quite so terrible,
As washing your child’s hair,
My eyes, my eyes, it’s in my eyes,
You know it’s only water,
But next door think you’re murdering,
Your darling son or daughter,
Children have two stomachs,
There’s one for healthy stuff,
And one for cakes and biscuits,
When the first one’s had enough,
But most importantly of all,
And this for your own health,
Never threaten no TV,
You’re punishing yourself.
